INTRODUCTION

One Shot Retrievers LLC ("One Shot Retrievers," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have when you visit https://oneshotretrievers.com (the "Site"), contact us, or enroll your dog in our training or boarding programs.

By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you submit our contact form, call or text us, book a program, or email us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, information about your dog (name, breed, age, health and vaccination records, training history), and any other details you choose to share.

Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and access times through cookies and similar technologies.

Communications. We keep records of emails, text messages, form submissions, and phone inquiries between you and One Shot Retrievers, including the date and time consent to be contacted was given.

SMS / Text Messaging Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that provide support services, such as customer service or our messaging platform provider, is permitted solely to operate our messaging program on our behalf.

All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Phone numbers and SMS consent collected by One Shot Retrievers LLC are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Consent to receive text messages from us is collected separately from any other agreement, is optional, and is never a condition of purchasing our services.
You may opt out of our text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. See the SMS Terms and Conditions in our Terms of Service for full program details.

How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. Vendors who perform services for us — website hosting, CRM and messaging platform providers, email delivery, payment processing, scheduling, and analytics — and who are permitted to use the information only to provide those services to us.
  • Veterinary or emergency care. If your dog requires medical attention while in our care, we may share your contact information and your dog's records with a veterinarian or emergency clinic.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of One Shot Retrievers LLC, our clients, our staff, or the animals in our care.
  • Business transfer. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with any third party for marketing purposes.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and improve performance. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings; some Site features may not function properly if you do. We honor Global Privacy Control and similar browser-based opt-out signals where required by law.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain training and boarding records, comply with legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. SMS consent records are retained for as long as you remain opted in and for a reasonable period afterward to document consent and honor opt-out requests.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance.
  • Email: click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us directly.
  • Access, correction, or deletion: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by contacting us using the information below.

Depending on where you live, including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Opting out of marketing messages does not stop transactional messages related to a booking you have made, such as appointment confirmations.

Children's Privacy

The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. You must be at least 18 years old to provide a phone number and consent to receive text messages from us. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-Party Websites

The Site may link to third-party websites and social media pages we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes affecting our SMS program will be communicated to enrolled subscribers where required.
